General: Over 200 meter runs in 48 installations. Rigorous AGA and API calculation methods. Automatic stationary and portable proving. Integrity monitoring.
Applications:
- Automatic well test systems for royalty accounting of multiple wells, production of gas and oil, using AGA-3, AGA-7, API MPMS calculations. Well test schedules, reports. Modbus, chromatograph and HART communications interfaces.
- Two minute interval custody line balance, with SPC trending on jet fuel pipelines.
- Gas blending station blends up to 30 million cubic feet per day of refinery flare gas with natural gas, for use in a power plant. Includes GC interface for specific gravity, BTU and gas analysis. AGA calculations in Allen Bradley PLC, Wonderware MMI.
- Paymeter station for Nitrogen, using stacked DP's. Because of contract provisions, the paymeter needs to keep track of totals above and below a specific delivery rate, which are billed at different rates. Data is stored for one month, then retrieved into a spreadsheet for accounting purposes.
- Crude oil supertanker marine terminal with eight parallel turbine meter runs and a stationary prover. Signature curves compensate for flow rate deviations. Balance better than 0.1%.
- Regional pipeline paymeter station for custody transfer of crude oil between oil producers and refiners. Requires RTU communications between three corporate SCADA centers. Includes capability for portable proving.
- Gas custody transfer to provide for switching between alternate fuel sources feeding a cogeneration plant. Stations are configured as dial up RTUs from a BJ RealFlex MMI.
- Custody metering of refinery products via 20 meter runs. Daniel Flow Computers directly linked to Honeywell TDC-3000. Automated movement scheduling and meter ticket generation.
- API prover calculations in Hewlett Packard 48GX.
- Automated test stand for calibration of aircraft fuel injectors and carburetors.
- Portable ballistic prover uses API pulse interpolation method. Prover reports automatically generated in an Excel database on each meter is maintained in Microsoft Access.
